Release A in one paragraph
MyIPCheckup provides network and browser diagnostics without accounts, advertising cookies, optional analytics, or server-side report history. Cloudflare necessarily processes the request needed to deliver the site and may process security or operational logs according to the service configuration.
Information observed for the service
The current request can expose a public IP address, approximate country/region/city, ASN and network organization, protocol, TLS version, Cloudflare edge location, request headers on a strict allowlist, and the time of measurement.
IP-derived location is approximate and is not browser GPS location.
Local-only processing
Browser fingerprint inventories, pasted email headers, and the assembled exposure analysis are processed in the current page. MyIPCheckup does not upload a stable fingerprint hash. A VPN comparison baseline is stored in localStorage only after a deliberate action, expires after 24 hours, and can be deleted with the provided control.
Shared reports
Reports are encoded in the URL fragment and the full public IP is redacted by default. The fragment is normally not sent in the HTTP request, but anyone who receives the link may be able to read the report. Reports are noindex and are not stored as account history.
Third parties and retention
Cloudflare supplies DNS, CDN, Pages, Workers, and request-derived network metadata. The current release does not load AdSense, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party STUN servers. Infrastructure logs are kept only according to the configured provider and security settings and are not presented as a permanent user history.
Your choices
You may avoid optional tests, clear the local VPN baseline, close the page to discard in-memory results, and contact the project to ask a privacy question or request assistance.
